How Advanced K9 came to be

Advanced K9 is a small business that Christian Sutphin started in 2020, however his journey as a trainer truly began at the start of 2019, after adopting his beloved dog, Arya.

Along their journey, which would come to change Christian’s life, he and Arya unearthed the true magic created through the process of good dog training. Along this process of discovery Christian and Arya ascertained what a relationship built upon love and respect could create between an owner and their dog:

Trust, understanding, and an unwavering bond that lasts longer than a lifetime.

Loving the experience, Christian set out to learn more.

By mid 2019, Christian was was helping neighbors and friends discover the magic of good dog training and he got Trikos certified in basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification and canine first aid.

In 2020, Christian and Arya welcomed a new member into their family: a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd pup named Kyro.

Using the knowledge he gained through his certifications and his hands-on experience with countless breeds, Christian trained Kyro in off-leash obedience and realization finally struck: he knew that dog training was what he was always meant to do. That was when Christan slowly started the process of making dog training a full time job and he set out to open a small business.

After 3 years of hard work and his everyday pursuit of canine knowledge, Christian was able to open Advanced K9 as an official business.

It is Christian's dream to make dog training easy and fun for both you and your dogs. By training with Advanced K9, Christian will not only teach your pup the skills they need to get by, but the skills they need in order to thrive and get the most out of their life. Moreover, he is going to teach you how to best utilize these skills so that you can have the very best relationship with your dog.
